Shoeless Joe & Me

Shoeless Joe & Me is a novel written by Dan Gutman published in 2001, and is the fourth book in the Baseball Card Adventures series.

Plot

Joe "Stosh" Stoshack goes back in time to warn Shoeless Joe Jackson about the Black Sox Scandal. He ends up running into the gamblers behind the scandal and almost ends up getting killed. Then he spends time with Shoeless Joe and tries to warn him not to get involved in the scandal, but unfortunately the commisoner still bans him from playing baseball after the scandal.
